This year marks a significant milestone for BookSource as we celebrate 30 years of 'helping publishers do business.'
To kick off the birthday celebrations, a whisky reception hosted by BookSource and Publishing Scotland was held at the London Book Fair.
During the event, BookSource's Managing Director, Davinder Bedi addressed the guests: 'I have often said that independent publishing is the lifeblood of our industry, and it gives me great joy that for 30 years, BookSource has supported some brilliant, creative, and innovative publishers in a world that is becoming increasingly complex.'
BookSource was established in 1995 by Publishing Scotland to provide distribution services for independent Scottish publishers. Over the years, it has grown to offer services to publishers and retailers around the world.
The event brought together many familiar faces from the publishing industry. While raising a toast, Davinder added, 'To our publishers—both longstanding and new, as well as those yet to join us—thank you for your confidence in us and for allowing us to be part of what you do.'
